About

The chapter, the cars, the people.

Who we are

Cascade was chartered on October 15, 1961, the fiftieth region in PCA history and the second-oldest in Oregon. We cover twelve counties from the Columbia Gorge down to the California border, organized into two chapters - Central (Eugene, Salem, Bend, central coast) and Southern (Rogue Valley, southern Oregon).

In a typical year we run cars and coffee meets, organized drives across the Cascades and the Coast, occasional tech sessions, the spring tour, the fall tour, and a holiday banquet. We publish a quarterly newsletter, der Auspuff, which has been in print in some form since the early sixties.

What we are not: a sales floor, a track-only club, a concours-pressure organization. People show up in 356s and 911s and Caymans and Macans. People show up in cars they finished detailing yesterday and cars that have not been washed since the Bush administration. That's part of it.

The cars we welcome

If it's a Porsche, you are welcome here. 356, 911, 912, 914, 924, 928, 944, 968, Boxster, Cayman, Panamera, Macan, Cayenne, Taycan - all of them. Daily driver, garage queen, weekend project, six-figure restoration, the one your dad bought in 1973 and never sold. There is no minimum standard of finish.

A working Porsche, a non-working Porsche, the Porsche you're thinking about buying - they all count.
