Membership

Drive with us this Saturday.

Membership is one fee, paid annually to PCA national, that includes the Cascade region automatically. The chapter does not charge extra dues. The full thing is $46 per year as of this printing.

Why join

  • Panorama monthly + der Auspuff quarterly

PCA national mails Panorama every month - the largest single-marque magazine in publishing. Our chapter newsletter has been published continuously since the early 1960s.

  • The chapter calendar

Cars and coffee, drives, tech sessions, the spring tour, the fall tour, the holiday banquet. Most events are free to members.

  • A Pacific Northwest network

About a thousand members across Oregon. People who can fix your car, sell you the next one, or tell you which independent shop is honest about their hourly rate.

  • PCA national programs

Insurance, technical resources, PCA Mart classifieds, national tours, Driver Education events at Pacific Raceways and PIR, all included with membership.

How it works

You join PCA at pca.org. The form takes about five minutes. Membership is annual - $46 per year - and includes a family member at no extra cost.

Your billing zip routes you to the Cascade region automatically. You will start receiving Panorama within a month. We will send der Auspuffwith the next quarterly publication. The chapter calendar, drive routes, and event RSVPs are open to you immediately.

If you are not sure whether you are eligible (you do not yet own a Porsche, you are looking at a project car, you are a passenger member), email membership@cascade-pca.org and John will get back to you. PCA also has a transient membership category for non-owners.

Fair questions

Do I need a special Porsche?
No. Any Porsche - new, old, project, daily driver - qualifies. Most chapter members own one car. Some own seven. Either is normal.
Do I have to attend track events?
Not even slightly. Many members never go on track. The chapter runs drives, social meets, and tech sessions independently of any track program.
Can I bring a guest?
Yes. Most events welcome guests. Members-only drives are clearly marked. Bring people who are thinking about a Porsche, or who already drive one and have not joined.
Can family members join?
Yes. PCA membership includes a family member at no extra charge. Both names go on the card.
How does the regional assignment work?
You join PCA national. Your billing zip code automatically routes you to the right region. If you are in Oregon, that is almost always Cascade.
What does it cost?
PCA national charges $46 per year. There is no separate Cascade region fee. That is the whole price of admission.
