Spring Tour - Mt. Hood Loop

This is the chapter's anchor drive of the spring. Gather at Sandy Pioneer Park by 9:00 for coffee and a drivers' brief. We roll out at 9:30 in groups of six.

The route runs east on Highway 26 over Government Camp, north to Hood River along the East Fork Hood River, and back over the mountain via Lolo Pass. Lunch reservation at Timberline Lodge. Plan on a full tank, snacks, and layers - the weather can change four times before noon.

If this is your first chapter drive, ride at the back. Ask any board member to pair you with a tail group. We drive the speed limit, more or less. We do not race.
